PLEASE NOTE re: international transaction credit card fees: our merchant is based overseas.

Due to this some banks may charge an international transaction fee by their credit card bank for processing a credit card payment.   Prior to payment by credit card, please enquire with your/clients bank to confirm if there will be an international fee on the client’s credit card.

This can be an additional % fee, approx 3% of total charge depending on client’s credit card bank if they have international charges. Some credit cards do not charge international transaction fees.

Revised process around deposit & final payments as of Monday 23 May 22 

  1. Deposits – due as per invoice and will auto cancel the following 48 hours after the due date.
  2. Final payment – due as per invoice, request clients pay you a least 7 days prior to allow time for payment to be processed.
  3. Advise of Payment in ExpressBook as per below screenshot:

You can ‘Advise Payment’ by opening the booking and clicking ‘Advise of Payment’ in ExpressBook (click here for user reference guide).

Future Travel Credit fund transfers – we do not automatically transfer FTC funds to new bookings – your authority is required

  1. Deposits – you must request that your clients FTC funds are moved from original booking # xxxx to the new booking by CALLING RESERVATIONS. This process will take 48-72 hours and you will still receive payment reminders until the FTC funds are on the new booking.
  2. Final Payment – Please email payments@scenic.com.au to request FTC funds be transferred across and allow a minimum 7 -10 days from final payment due date for this to be processed.
    You will still receive payment reminders whilst the FTC funds are being transferred to the booking, you can disregard these as we will not automatically cancel the booking at this final payment stage.
