We are able to make bookings using the live online reservations system.

Alternatively, you can email any requests to wholesale@interislander.co.nz for Interislander bookings or wholesale@greatjourneysofnz.co.nz for any Scenic trains bookings.

Booking via the Wholesale Team 

You can email any travel requests to the Wholesale Team:

When emailing the team with a booking request please ensure the following information is included: 

  • Wholesale Agency number 
  • The Tramada File number and your initials ( B123TI ) reference number – this will appear on the invoice 
  • All passenger names and the make-up e.g. adult, child, infant 
  • Date of travel, sailing time , direction, rail service 
  • Vehicle type e.g. car, van, campervan – length of campervan is also required for Interislander

Bookings of 10 or more passengers 

The additional information below is needed for group bookings with 10 or more passengers. All  bookings of this size will need to be placed with the Wholesale Reservations Team. 

  • The coach length if a vehicle is crossing on Interislander 
  • Guide/Driver contact cellphone number 
  • Final group confirmation is required at least 21 days prior to travel 

One FOC per 15 paying pax up to a maximum of two is applicable to all group bookings

PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD:

KiwiRail will not ask for your credit card details. It is your agencies responsibility to process this payment online via your agent portals.

 

Interislander – Once you have logged in using the below account details you can enter your credit card details under ‘special’. This will store your details in our online booking system for ease of payment after each booking.

 

Scenic Trains – You can use the Agent Portal to securely store and reuse your credit card details for easy quick payments after you have used your card once to confirm a booking.

  • Once logged in select Update My Details from the home screen
  • Secondly, select the Payment Options button
  • Thirdly, select the card that you have previously used and would like to store
  • From now on, the saved credit card will show up as a payment option and will automatically process the payment
